“Diva means being careful about the musical reproduction” – Diva 5 test report on the reputed hi-fi magazine Audio Review

When the top line of a brand with long history like Indiana Line is touched, it is always looked at as a turning point. The journalist was curious to test a speaker of a brand that anyone in Italy involved in hi-fi, for any reason, have heard of, sooner or later, and points the fact that even now that the ownership of the Company is abroad, the philosophy of the brand is well preserved.

After looking through all the technical features of this speaker, the listening test impressed the reviewer, starting with the revealing sound of piano:

“Despite their size, they are not afraid when playing the powerful chords that extend almost to the first octave on the keyboard. We appreciate the wide mid range that concretizes the sound both in the pianissimo passages in which the pianist’s touch becomes almost evanescent, and in the brighter parts, the intense accents with broad dynamic cues generously given by the amplification”.

Going with other genres, and other golden ears listening to the Diva 5:

“I was looking for balance and I found bass character, with drums, although “synthetic”, offering excellent “punch”, depth and control, once again of a high level. I then looked for songs characterized by good recordings, from jazz to pop to classical, and found that in general the speakers are balanced with every type of music, even with demanding songs, even going towards symphonic music, given with excellent balance”.

Diva 5 is regarded as a miracle of balance with its ability to fill with sound any room:

“The bass is powerful and precise, perhaps without reaching the depths of the underworld, but with excellent control where it is needed. On this range every genre is enjoyable and the emission is powerful and safe, although they are not “explosive” speakers. The ability to reproduce a good front is all there. The scene is large even beyond the possibility of the room, the central image well defined and the sound sources on the stage well delineated. A certain depth of the sound stage characterizes the position of the speakers in the room chosen for listening”.

Conclusions:

“The evolution of the sound of Diva is clearly perceptible and in line with the philosophy that has characterized the history of Indiana Line in recent years, to guarantee them to remain at the top of the list of those speakers that allow you to enjoy “good sound” even without spending a fortune. As has always been the case at Indiana Line house”.
